    Sore eyes: Get water from under a galvanised roof, and wash your eyes with it.
    Sore neck: Put salt in a woollen cloth around your neck.
    Hiccough: To get a fright, and it will go.
    Jaundice: Your skin will turn yellow, and boil the root of a daffodil, and drink it.
    Head-ache: If you have a pain in the top of your head, you must get your head measured.
    A pain in your ear: Put wool in your ear, and put castor-oil on it.
    A Burn: Rub your tongue on a lizard, and rub it on your burn.
    A duct in your eye: Get it licked out by the tongue of somebody else.
