- On the side of the road leading from Foxford to Curinarrow which lies to the south east of this town there is a rock which bears the footprint of a saint and a point of a stick.
Up to the present day it is strongly believed to be that of a saints, and it was firmly thought that the parish church would be built there. The track of the heel, the toes, and the stick is about a quarter of an inch in depth.
