- About fifty years ago there lived in Tallow a farmer and his wife. The farmer was an honest man but his wife was wicket. She put water in the milk which she sold to the poor. She refused to give food to the hungry saying she wanted it for the pigs.
She died young. After dying, the farmer could not fatten the pigs. They were getting thinner every day. He asking the servant girls if she gave them food reguarlry. She said she gave them the food as usual.
He watched tht night and he saw his wfie with a pigs head and she was eating the pigs food. He asked her what was wrong and she said she was damned for putting water in the milk she sold and giving(continues on next page)- Collector
