   23-2-1938 John White, of Clonmel died in the year 1930. He ran from Clonmel to Dublin in twenty hours. Walter Colbert walked nineteen miles in one hour. He lived in Tramore, twenty years ago. Maurice Power, a native of Aglish cycled twelve miles in three quarters of an hour. It is said that Patrick Brien of Clashmore jumped a distance of two perches. William Kelly jumped a horse across a road with fences fifteen feet high and the road 8ft wide. He lived in Roscommon. William Brazil cycled ten miles in a half hour. He lived in Youghal. Edward Tobin from Waterford City ran eight miles in one hour.
