“Once upon a time there lived a very poor man whose name was Long John.”
Once upon a time there lived a very poor man whose name was Long John. One day his wife told him that she could not keep him no longer. Next day he went to seek work. John was not able to do any work. He went to a farmer and asked for work. The farmer told him to tackle the horses. He put the winkers on the horse's tail and the straddle on his head.
