“The following is the recognised prayer said by those seeking a cure at Tobar Cill Aodh.”
The following is the recognised prayer said by those seeking a cure at Tobar Cill Aodh. It was given to Thomas O Flynn by James Cummins of Ballyvooney. This man Cummins had very sore eyes after a serious illness. A woman named Ally Flynn advised him to make nine visits to the well & say the following prayer:-
"God bless you holy well.
Christ bless you also.
I am coming to you for my cure
If it is God's holy will".- Informant
