  1. 1.leath chuid ( pronounced leath chú) 1/2 of every crop had to be left in field for landlord. On one occasion when this duty was neglected- legs of 7 cows broken from knees down in morning. When Landlord System at end - a funeral procession was formed- coffin supposed to contain the leath chuid and buried amidst rejoicings.
    2.Workmen hired Lady Day -Spring- should change furniture and belongings on that day to new employer who provided a house for him on his land- had to remain until foll. Lady Day (12 months) Another buring meeting shortly before that and if he wished he could remain on for another year or change, but change should be made on Lady Day. His pay- 4/6 per week , 1/2 acre potatoes, 2 barrels coal, as much ? as needed and milk.
    3.Sgioláin ( potatoes for seed) shouldn't be cut on Monday.
    4.Woman who cursed grabber -curse fell on herself - had 2 gall. water at bedside when dying but thirst couldn't be quenched.
