The wren the wren, the king of all birds.
On Stephens day she was caught on the furze,
although she was little her family was great,
Rise up young lady and give us a treat.
Up with the kettle and down with the pan,
give us the money to bury the wren.
    I met a wren upon a rock
I drove her into a brandy shop.
I dipped her head in a branch of berries.
i wish you all a happy new year.
All silver no brass give us the piece of a half a glass.
