Local Cures
old people use for a sore throat:- They get a little bit of "Alum" and out it into a half-cupful of hot water. Then they gargle their throat with it. A bit of satin a half-cupful of hot water is another cure for a sore throat. The cure for in-digestion is to drink about a half-cupful of hot water with a little bit of bread soda in it.
