Nowadays almost all the milk is sent to the creameries. In some places churning i still carried on, and in my opinion home made butter if properly made and kept scrupulously when is very much superior to any creamery butter, and good fresh buttermilk is certainly superior to the skim coming from the most up to date creamery.- Collector
