    killed the horse instead. This continued until he killed the four horses. The man had to leave the coach on the road and walk home.
    When he went home he told his wife what happened to him. He went into the barn and he saw a lot of birds in the barn and among them was the little sparrow. The man aimed at the sparrow but he broke a pane in the window.
    He returned to his wife and told her. The woman took out the hatchet and the man took out the hammer to kill the bird. Alas! the woman hit her husband in mistake and killed him.
