“A man from Kilcar was continually dreaming that he would get his fortune on London Bridge.”
A story told by Dan Mc Gowan, Drimnakillew, Inver aged 75 years to Master Gallagher, Legan N.S.A man from Kilcar was continually dreaming that he would get his fortune on London Bridge.
He went there and remained for days marching up and down. He was approached by a man one day who asked him what he was doing.
He told of his dream and said he came from a place called Kilcar in the Co. Donegal. The London man told him he was a fool that he himself had a strange dream. He saw a crock of gold under an Ash tree in a certain townland in- Collector
