2. For weak sore eyes it is a cure to wash them with a bowlful of blue stone water (Solution of common water and Sulphate of copper).
3. For a sore eye it is a cure to pull nine gooseberry jags of a gooseberry bush. Keep them for nine nights. Then throw them all away only one and rub the remaining one on the sore eye every night for nine nights.
4. It is a cure to take a pinch of snuff and snuff until your eyes run water.
