    There was not a soul lost - even the captain's cat was saved.
    They were all treated in the most hospitable way till they took their departure in a few days.
    Some of the timber of the Aurora was used for roofing the Loughrospoint School. Some of the iron of the Aurora was used for making grates and there are some of the grates yet to be seen in Loughrospoint.
