    seriously and said he would chance him. So early the next morning the boy set out. As he passed a certain high rock the robber jumped out at him and levelled two guns at him. But the boy pretended he did not hear him and rode on. At last he came to the town, then returned home not meeting the robber any of the way. And so that is the story of Barnes Gap which is sometimes called Barnes Mór.
