Later a man called George Vaughan Hart lived in the Castle. He built a big bit of the castle. He built the banqueting-hall and the part at the entrance. His name is written above the door.
There was supposed to be two stairways in the castle. The stairs that are in it now were supposed to be a sort of secret stairway.
There is a small passage in the castle. It leads down to the sea, There is another big passage that goes out to Fanad. Nobody seems to know where the entrance is.
Daddy says that when he was small the castle used to be filled with people dancing.
