This story is quite true and is often told around the firesides on winter nights. A little girl was sent by her mother to the shop for goods on Hallow Eve, and as she did not return her parents became anxious about her and they inquired about her but no one had seen her.
In a few day's time gentlemen who were staying at Glenveagh Castle were fishing on the lake close by. One of the gentlemen said, "Look up! That is surely a human being up on that cliff but how did she ever get up there". They came up closer and saw it was really a little girl, so they got ropes and help and took her down from the cliff.(continues on next page)
