    cloth then will cure their head when it is sore.
    The old cure people had long ago for a headache was to rub vinegar on it, and then put brown paper on it.
    Old people used drink very strong tea when they had headaches.
    If you cut your hair on Good Friday you will never have a headache for a year.
    To comb your hair several times is a good cure for a sore head also.
    Old people used put their heads on cold stones to cure a headache.
    Boils.
    Brown soap ans sugar applied to boils was reckoned a cure in olden days.
    By poulticing a boil with loaf bread (boiled with milk and water) it takes the venom out of the boil.
    A cure for boils is to fill a bottle with lukewarm water and to press it down on the boil.
    Whooping - cough.
    If a person suffering from whooping cough gives a donkey a piece of oatcake to eat and eats whatever crumbs fall from the donkey
