    Cobwebs on the ground is for bad weather. Geese making a great noise is a sign of storm. The loud sound of Mc Swine's gun denotes a storm.When Tramore Strand sounds it is a sign of storm.
    When the new moon appears too soon it is going to be a bad month.
    Crows flying inland denotes a storm. When we notice a blue flame in the fire it denotes a storm.
    Those who live along the sea-coast can usually tell when storm is approaching because they notice the deep sea trawlers seeking shelter in the bay.
    When a badger sees his shadow on Candlemas Day it indicates a bad summer.
    When there is a rosy sky at sunset this is for good weather.
    A rainbow in the evening is a sign of good weather.
    When there is a heavy dew on the grass this is a sign of good weather.
    When the sheep all gather to the top of a mountain to lie down it is a sign of good weather.
    When the sky is very blue it signifies good weather.
