    It is very unlucky to cut your hair during Lent.
    If a farmer starts to put in his crop on a Saturday the old people say it is not lucky.
    If a man shaves on a Friday it is bad luck.
    If you throw tongs after a person going to play cards it is lucky.
    Wednesday is an unlucky day to change to a new house.
