  2. Whooping cough: People say that a donkey's milk is good.
    Rheumatism: Sloan's liniment is the best cure. Some take nettle soup for them.
    Toothache: Baking soda is often used.
    Warts: Rub the warts with raw bacon or beef and dip them in water on a stone.
    Sprains: People born on Shrove Tuesday can cure sprains. Hot chicken weed is sometimes used.
    Evil: The seventh daughter can cure the evil.
    Rose: People say that the seventh son can cure the rose.
    Cure for a cough: People drink nettle soup for a cough.
    Burns: Water that comes off docking leaves is good for burns.
    Deep cuts: Moss is good to put on deep cuts.
