    of families in Killyclug is ten and there are about fifty people in it. There are more thatched houses in Killyclug than there are slated ones. Long ago Colm Cille had a church in Killyclug and it was the first church then known to have a bell. So that is how Killyclug got its name.
    There were more houses in Killyclug long ago than there are now, and there is a lot of them in ruins.
    The most of the land in Killyclug is good. There is some of it boggy.
