- (continued from previous page)almost died out. There is only one shoemaker around this district but he does not make shoes. His name is Mc. Daid and he lives in Glencar. He mends them. There used to be four shoemakers in this district but they are all dead now. Nearly everybody wore clogs long ago and some people wear them yet.
- People began to wear boots long ago when they were about thirteen or fourteen years of age.
It is a usual custom for the children to go barefooted in Summer.
The water that is used for washing feet is thrown out.
