- There was a very strong man who lived in Glenveigh. His name was Pat McMonagle. He was the size of a full grown man when he was seven years old. One day when his father had nine men gathered together to lift a fir block to build a couple for a house. Before the men went for the block they were gathered In Pat McMonagles fathers house taking tea. When they were talking Pat ran out and over to the block. He lifted it and put it on his shoulder, next he carried it to the house and (and) set it down outside the door just as the men came out.
