    ladle. It has a strainer bottom and a long handle on it.
    When any person comes in when churning they generally say good luck to your work and they say they never should go out again until they would give the churn a brash because it is not lucky.
    The buttermilk is used for baking bread and to give to the calves and pigs and we drink some of it ourselves. In hot weather the hens get some to drink also.
