- The people had only three meals a day in olden times. The names of these meals were their breakfast, dinner, and their supper.
Breakfast was eaten about eight o'clock.
Dinner was eaten about twelve o'clock. Their supper was eaten about six o'clock in the evening. The people worked often before having anything to eat.
Their breakfast consisted of oaten bread, wheaten bread and milk, and some people ate potatoes and buttermilk. For their dinner they ate potatoes and buttermilk, and sometimes soup and salted(continues on next page)- Collector
