    district and I am disappointed that I have not been able to find out more about them. I would very much like to find out something authentic about them.
    There is no graveyard in the district.
    There is no tradition of local industries that have disappeared. Kelp making was an important source of income to the people in the northern portion of the Fanad peninsula but it didn't have much effect in this area. It used to be a common sight to see perhaps 30 carts passing through the village on their way to Milford Quay with loads of Kelp.
