    "Chicken weed" with warm water is said to be good for burns and swellings.
    "Mugard" roots boiled were good as a drink for cows.
    When boiling water was put on dandelions the cows would eat them and they were good for them.
    "Roman" roots were used as dye for dyeing things red. It was the only dye the people had. The roots were put into water and boiled. Then the roots were thrown away and whatever was going to be dyed was put into the water. Thistles and nettles were good for food for nettles. "Jenebar" was boiled and the soup was used for coughs.
