- The most harmful weeds on our farm are nettles, thistles, dockens, chicken weed. If a person does not pull the dockens and thistles the seed of the old weeds would rise more the next year. Thistles and nettles will grown only on good dry land. Dockens will only grown in wet land.
There is a certain plant called Fairy lint, which is very good for animals if they are sick. It must be boiled in water; the water is then strained and given to the animal to drink.- Collector
