    Long ago there were two brothers living near each other in Glenfinn. Owen and John the called them.

    to beat him with flails. So he called to Owen to help him. Indeed I will said Owen because it is easy seeing you are getting no fair play he looked round and got a big stick in the corner and started to help the big black man. Between the two of them they beat the twelve men out the door. The big man was very thankful to to Owen the same thing happened the second and third night. The third night Owen told the big man he would not be back any more as that was the bargain he made with his master to stay three nights in the house. The big man said he would have to make him some return for his help. He showed him a leather bag full of gold and silver and told him to take it with him. Owen took the bag with him he was rich now and had no need to stay at service any more. The next day he
