- The sparrow is another farmyard bird it feeds on grain, and is very destructive especially in the harvest. It makes its nest in the eaves of houses in holes and in trees It makes a good nest of moss and lines it with feathers. It is very careful in selecting a place for its nest and likes a warm, cosy place for it.
