The priest put his coat on the rock and sat down on it. Then Hugh began his Confession. He said he killed a man and the priest asked him why did he do that. He said that something came over him and he could not put it away and that he had to kill a man. Then he said, "It is coming over me now."
The priest jumped up and ran away leaving the coat behind him. Hugh lifted the coat and put it under his arm and walked down to Corney with it.
