    of clay for a field and he took it out of the Abbey plot, and it is said that he was haunted by a plague of rats which were even jumping out of the pot of porridge on the fire, and at last he had to leave the townland.
    Balleighan Abbey was never burned nor plundered at any time. There are three heads engraved on at one of the windows. These heads are supposed to be the heads of three O'Donnells.
    There are two stones in Ardnadition One has a cross carved on it. The other has an "A" carved on it.
