    V
In a couple of days when perfectly dry
The dulse is brought round to the store
The market is good though the price is not high
For the sweet - tasting weed from the shore
There's tea and there's sugar and such things to buy
and flour and meal and what not?
With dulse growing plenty no babies'll cry
They're sure of an overflow pot.
    VI
There's many a way of earning your bread
and many's the way that is tried.
What think you of my way? the dulse puller says
As one day I worked by her side.
'Tis healthy and free if a little severe
And honest before God and man.
Your exemplary life I will always revere
and help you whenever I can.
