    things before they put them in the wells and if any body would lift any thing out of them they never have luck after it. There is a cross on each holy well.
    Some people believe in getting cured if there is any thing wrong with them. If there is any thing wrong with you and just go up for a laughing sport it will not cure you. Some people have been cured, but it was people out of Derry.
    There was an old woman who had a sore back and she went up and put some of the water on her back, but she did not believe in it and she never got better.
