    The old people took great care of their feet and seldom or never had corns.

    He was greatly annoyed at this and was anxious to get rid of it.
    He asked different people how he could get rid of it. A man named Antony Donaghy - a great jolly character - dressed up with a great water proof with high collar, and a boler hat, and decided to take a hand at this old man and his corns.
    He called into the house just as it was getting dark, and inquired for a person who lived farther up the road, and to whose house he said he was going to see a sick person. The old man inquired if he was the doctor, and he said that he was. The old man then told him of the terrible corn on his foot, adding that he could not sleep with the pain of it.
    The doctor _ as he was supposed to be _ told him that he could have his boots off when he would get back from the other house, and that he would cure the corn.
    The old man got a bucket of hot water, washing soda, and soap, and washed his feet in preparation for the doctor;s return. He must get rid of the horrible corn, but the doctor did not return
