    There was an old farmer and he was very poor and he had only one cow.

    This story was told by Mr Black, Muineagh, Linsfort Buncrana Age 42 yrs.
    There was an old farmer and he was very poor and he had only one cow. The landlord was putting him out for unpayment of rent. he had to sell the cow for to pay the rent then he had nothing to live on. He thought he would sell the farm. So that night there came a little man into the house. He told him not to sell the farm. The old man said he would have to sell the farm because he would not to be able to pay the next installment. But the little man would not hear tell of him selling the farm. So the little man told him the next morning to go up to the "scrug" of bushes above his house he would see a stone flag lying on the ground and to lift it and he would get as much money as would do him. He went up and lifted the stone flag and there was a large amount of money. He gathered it into a large bag and he came down to the house with the
