    (2) Put hot mustard on a cloth and apply.
    Rheumatism:
    (1) Take a hot bath with Sloan's Liniment in it.
    (2) Rub home-made linement on the part affected.
    Influenza:
    (1) Drink half a pint of lemonade each day and ly in bed.
    (2) Drink lemon juice
    Sore Throat:
    (1) Drink hot butter-milk and a spoon of sugar melted in going to bed.
    (2) Put hot salt in a stocking and tie around the neck.
    (2) Gargle with soft water mixed with salt.
    Corns:
    (1) Mix baking soda in buttermilk and apply
    (2) Apply an ivy leaf.
    (3) Rub turf-mould and it will take away the soreness.
    Sore eyes:
    (1) Rub on cold tea going to bed.
    (2) Boil ivy and allow the steam to get into the eyes.
    (3) Bathe the eyes in soft water going to bed.
    A Pain:
    (1) For a pain in the side spit on a stone and leave it down on the same place again.
