There are four corners in my bed,
And every one an angel spread.
One to guide me, one to save me
Two to carry me into heaven
Saint Marthew, Mark, Luke and John.
God bless the bed that I lie on.
As I lie down on my right side.
As Jesus did on Mary's knee
    Jesus be the branch
    Jesus be the flower
Jesus be with me in my last hour.
God bless Friday and Good Friday.
The day our blessed Savour was crucified
Those bloody Jews came passing by with a sharp spear in all their hands.
To pierce our sweet Saviour's heart.
His blessed mother being standing by
With a sorrowful heart and a weeping eye.
Those that repeats this prayer five times by day, five times by night.
They will never die in dread or fright.
They will be free from sin and gates of hell they shall never enter in.
