    Wooden ploughs are still used in our district as well as iron ones. The wooden ploughs are still in good working condition and some of them are only new.
    We get all our spades in the shops. First of all we wall (pick) the potatoes, seed size and cut them up for seed. If we want them for early use we put them into boxes and put lime on them to dry them we keep them in a dark place till they bud.
