“Once upon a time there lived a little boy who was very fond of stealing things from his neighbours who lived near by.”

They were not long walking when they met three robbers. The robbers asked the father where he was going. He told them that his neighbour was going to kill his little son because he was stealing and he was looking for some safe place to hide him from the neighbour.
The three robbers asked the father if he would give his little son to them and they would teach him a trade.
