Sometimes the rope is given away with a horse when sold, but never with cattle. These fairs which are held in Culdaff are not important ones, as only sheep horses, and cattle are sold at time, but the quarterly fairs held in Carndonagh are much more important. Special fairs are not held Culdaff for the sale of sheep, pigs, or horses.
