    pipe to have a smoke and [lit] it with the blue light and immediately he saw a little man beside him. He told him that anything he wanted he would get it because he was master of the blue light.
    The man told him to take him out of this well and leave the old witch in his place. After this had been done the little man gave him a purse of gold and after this the man never wanted money. The next day the man went to Derry and bought himself a lovely pair of boots.
