- Mass is supposed to have been said in a house in Bow Hill. It was called Knockdrummon. The house is now the property of Mr. Carey but years ago Smyths owned it. A priest named Father Walsh used to hide there and say Mass there Rush and Lusk were the one parish at that time and the people used to go to hear Mass there.In the Penal Times there was a priest in Kenure and he was invited to a dinner in Kenure House and he was never heard of afterwards. It is thought that he was seized by the priest hunters and thrown into a big pond which is at Kenure.There was a place in(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
