- The "Watery Lane" is about twenty-five yards left from the green near Clonshough cross roads. It is called the "Watery Lane" because there is a little stream flowing along the side of the bank and it empties itself in the sea at Malahide. In 1932 or 1933 the time of the big blizzard the water of this stream rose up over the bank and flooded all the road. Told by my father to me,
