    Next morning the other brother got up and he went out into the garden and he saw the well filled with blood. He got his two dogs and his dog and he went off. He went into a man and he asked for lodgings of him. The man said that he would. He told him that a hare would be sitting out in the window in the morning and to kill her is he could. He got his gun and his two dogs and he followed them. When the hare would be on the hills the hounds would be in the hollow and they kept like that the whole day. At night they saw a light in the wood and the men drew on the light. There was an old woman in the house and he asked lodgings of her. She said she would if he would his hounds. She gave him three ribs of her hair to tie his hounds and when he got her back turned he threw the ribs into the fire. She gave him his supper and he went to bed. In the middle of the night she got up and sprang on him. The old woman told the ribs to help her. "It is hard for me" said the ribs "and a burning behind the fire. Help us, help us hounds said the man
