- The Sh(i)rufan, "Cloonthue," "Sylane", "Grawnes", "Ceathrú na nGairintí". Cloonmore".
"The Sh(i)rufan" is a little stream beside the Station. It flows through a large field called the "Grove". It is surrounded by large walls on one side and iron bars on the other side.
Cloothue is road beside Barrack St. Another name for Cloonthue is "Tír Buidhe" which means "Yellow Town". There is a wood beside it called "The Plantation.
Sylane is a village about four or five miles from Tuam. there are two roads leading to it. Namely:- "The Weir Rd" and "The Ballygaddy Rd" On the road out there is a wood(continues on next page)- Collector
