There is a holy will in the parish of Clontuskert. A lot of people visit this well on Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays during the month of August and the special day is the 28th of August the feast day of the Saint St. Augustine. The people go around the well fifteen times saying prayers on their beads. The man that owned the land was a Protestant and he didn't want the people to be going to the well. He closed the well and next morning there was a bullock of his drowned quiet near, so he was glad to open the well again. There were a lot of people cured at this well. There is a little hill beside the well and everyone leaves some little offering on this hill. There are five stones around the well and there are four of them in the form of crosses. There are three steps going down into the well and some people go down into the well and brings a piece of moss from it.
