    Friday is considered an unlucky day to get married.
    It is an old custom when people are coming out of the church after getting married rice is thrown at them.
    It was an old custom to make a straw cross and to put it on the side-car that the bride and bridegroom would be on.
    It was a custom when the bride would be going out of her mother's house to get married her mother would throw a mug after her.
    People used to try to have an odd number of cars at the hauling home.
    No white horse was ever allowed at the hauling home.
    It is considered a lucky omen to break a glass at a wedding.
