    when they are left longer in the tallow. Then they took them out and left them aside until they got hard. They made a good many together and they would leave them up until they would want them.
    There were also small ten lamps made by the tinkers and there was a rush wick in them for lighting them. The light of the candles was much better than that of the little lamps. There were black iron candlesticks made for holding the candles. These were made in the forge by a blacksmith.
